Salad Dressings

Basil Dressing:
Makes 6 servings of 2 tablespoons each

 Ingredients:                                

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
    3
    tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • Black pepper, to taste 
Directions: 
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend.

Creamy Feta and Yogurt Dressing


All the taste, without all the calories and artificial extras!  This makes a great dressing and dip. Enjoy! 

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:                                                                   

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) crumbled feta cheese
    1
    small clove garlic, grated or pressed
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) Greek yogurt 
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of pepper
